Meditation

What is Meditation?

True meditation is a state of deep peace that occurs when the mind is calm and silent, yet completely alert.
This state is also known as “thoughtless awareness”.
Achieving this mental silence can seem challenging. We think we must struggle to control or subdue our thoughts, which continually pull our attention into either the past or the future.
With Sahaja (definition: easy and spontaneous) Meditation, this state of “thoughtless awareness” is effortless. Our inner energy rises above the level of thought, bringing our attention to rest in the present, free of any struggle or judgement.
